Slip leads aren’t designed for dogs to lean on or pull against constantly. If your dog is pulling non-stop, that’s a sign they need training, not just a different leash. Teaching leash pressure as a communication cue is key. Chronic pulling can put strain on your dog’s neck and trachea, which is why it’s important to address the behavior through training. No leash or tool will stop pulling on its own — training is what makes the difference!
